cozyscreenshot uses the minimum number of cookies required to keep your sign-in working. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember things between page loads — most importantly, that you are signed in.
The cookies we use
The full list of cookies cozyscreenshot sets when you use the Service:

What we do not use
- No advertising cookies. We do not run ads on cozyscreenshot.
- No cross-site tracking. We do not embed Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tags or similar third-party trackers.
- No analytics cookies. Our product analytics are cookieless and store no identifiers in your browser.
Local storage
In addition to cookies, cozyscreenshot stores small bits of state in your browser’s localStorage to make the app work:
- Export quota counters — keys starting with
cs-exports-. These keep track of how many exports you’ve made this week (Free) or this day (Member). They reset automatically when the period changes. - Theme / accent preferences — your chosen UI theme so the editor remembers it on next visit.
Clearing your browser data also clears these values.
Managing cookies
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in functionality. You can still remove them at any time via your browser’s settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Removing cookies will sign you out. The editor itself will continue to work for unauthenticated visitors at the Free tier.
Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce new cookies, this page will be updated and the “last updated” date at the top will change.
